Within this, the Billing & Payments value stream provides pre- and post-sale capabilities that enable customers to get the most from their DIRECTV service and empowers our front-line team members who help them with intelligent technology.
Our scope enables customer-facing self-service capabilities for DIRECTV customers to manage their billing and payment activity, enables enterprise-wide data transformation, and provides services to support our sales and service line of business for field technicians and customer care phone agents to service DIRECTV customers.
The Technical Product Manager is a self-managed leader of features for a domain or set of components, who makes decisions based on end-to-end impact, data, and experience.
This experienced product manager demonstrates ownership of feature definition and sound understanding of technical design for the systems they are working with.
Here's what you'll do:
Collaborate with the business and impacted application teams on creating capabilities and requirements to facilitate feature creation in Jira Align.
Ongoing communication across all stakeholders to ensure delivery on business requirements.
Ongoing assessment of feature and requirements backlog (per PI) as changes arise on requirements to ensure there are not any discrepancies; stay in front of dependencies, risks, or roadblocks.
Communicate risks, issues, status, and mitigation strategies, if applicable.
Daily synchronization calls with multiple team Product Owners and Scrum Masters on current and new development work.
Serve as priority leader for assigned scrum teams.
Twice weekly synchronization calls with Release Train Engineers and Project Managers to stay on track with all current and new work, project-based and maintenance support work.
What you'll need to be successful:
SAFE Agile Certification and 5 years of Agile Product Management experience.
5 years of experience in Enterprise level business analysis.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field (computer science, engineering, information technology, or the sciences) is preferred, and recommended.
Ability to seamlessly manage features and work across Jira Align and Jira.
Demonstrated track record of success and progression in varied challenges.
Excellent organization and planning skills with ability to multi-task.
Self-directed, results-oriented individual who can independently handle and thrive with multiple priorities.
Analytical - makes data-driven decisions while establishing effective metrics that drive results and optimize on technology stack.
Intellectually Agile - able to think deeply and qualitatively about strategy and vision.
Entrepreneurial - brings a high level of self-directed energy and an unrelenting drive to succeed.
Leader - able to lead by displaying an unparalleled work ethic; able to coach and mentor those around them.
Strong Communicator - articulate with an ability to communicate in a direct and clear manner; history of communication with C-level executives using oral, written, and presentation formats is preferred.
This role requires approximately, but not limited to, 5% travel.
This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the United States.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones.
Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
