Manage the requirements/user stories process by acting as a liaison/Product Owner.
Delegate between business stakeholders and the delivery teams to align business needs with a technical architecture and end-solution.
Elicit, analyze, and validate project requirements that result in new applications or enhancements to existing applications, systems and/or business process design.
Understand business issues and needs and translate into requirements to create the overall solution.
Manage the end-to-end requirements process using tools to define the set of processes and approach for each project, and resolution.
Utilize microservices architecture to support offers space (Mongo DB).
Apply working knowledge of Oracle, SQL DB to analyze data by writing and executing SQL scripts.
Design technical solutions that solve business problems and meet user needs.
Utilize webservices in SOAP and REST protocols.
Deliver projects in in Agile and Waterfall framework.
Work closely with the business stakeholders to facilitate prioritization of business requests and identify the scope for the upcoming program increment.
Train new resources and coach them to take on the role of representing the offers space.
Support multiple projects within this subject area.
Identify, analyze and drive problems to resolution, coordinating and advising on complex issues, completing all tasks within committed timeframes, and effectively communicating across teams and levels of management.
Facilitate and lead Solution/Design discussions with the business and application teams and review detailed technical solutions to ensure that the solution meets the business need.
Design technical solutions that solve business problems and meet user needs by analyzing application business logic processes for java and microservices based applications.
Deliver projects through the SAFE (Scaled Agile Framework) methodology.
Leverage JiraAlign tool to maintain and track projects using SAFE methodology.
Facilitate and lead Solution Intent Review sessions with the business and application teams and review detailed technical solutions to ensure that the solution meets the business need.
Design new Offer Frameworks by integrating the agent application with Decisioning Engine through Microservices functions and SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) requests in order to provide offers recommendations to agents on the UI.
Run database reports using SQL scripts to identify customers billed incorrectly and provide solutions to process refunds and package changes on the account.
Validate the delivery of requirements by facilitating presentations for the new functionality and get approval from all the stakeholders.
Create, review and approve Functional Specifications, Application Interface Specifications, Detailed Modeling Rules, Business logic configuration, Rules and RuleSets configurations.
Collaborate with other application teams for project status, proposals, technical issues, software system design and maintenance through daily standup meetings and other scheduled meetings.
Create test data using xml SOAP requests and perform data testing and integration testing of the interfaces to ensure data accuracy.
Supervise production issues and issues found during System testing, Integration testing and User Acceptance testing.
Support defect resolution by performing root cause analysis and engaging the right resources to implement the fix.
Recommend user training strategies for smooth transition of users to the new or upgraded software system.
Facilitate Business Validation Acceptance Testing for the business and the product manager and provide any support required with test data creation and requirement clarifications.
Provide subject matter expertise in the Offers space and oversee all initiatives within the DIRECTV STREAM space.
REQUIREMENTS:
Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science, or Electronic Engineering and 5 Years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or 5 Years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation utilizing microservices architecture to support offers space (Mongo DB); applying working knowledge of Oracle, SQL DB to analyze data by writing and executing SQL scripts; designing technical solutions that solve business problems and meet user needs; utilize working knowledge of webservices in SOAP and REST protocols; delivering projects in in Agile and Waterfall framework; working closely with the business stakeholders to facilitate prioritization of business requests and identify the scope for the upcoming program increment; training new resources and coaching them to take on the role of representing the offers space; supporting multiple projects within this subject area; identifying, analyzing and driving problems to resolution, coordinating and advising on complex issues, and completing all tasks within committed timeframes; and facilitating and leading Solution/Design discussions with the business and application teams and review detailed technical solutions to ensure that the solution meets the business need.
